Avery Pregnancy Resource Center

In 2009 God began to birth this ministry through several people. When  people asked about the possiblity, the Director of Missions of the Avery Baptist Association began to make contact with the Tri County Pregnancy Center in Burnsville NC. It was through this contact that a partnership was made between these two centers. We consider Tri county as our parent in this ministry and follow their model of ministry. After many months of prayer and meetings, talking and consideration, God gave us a location and a vision. It was then that we partnered with Oak Grove Baptist Church to utilize a beautiful house they had purchased several years earlier. This location is perfect because of its location and its features.

Currently, the Director of Missions serves as the Director of the Center with many people assisting. Plans are being made to refurbish the house and decorate it for the purpose of offering help and hope to those who need it.
